Take a moment as you read this to reflect on what I am saying to you today. Close your eyes after you read these instructions and before you finish the lecture and take a moment to see if you can feel the vastness of the universe and your small role in it. See if you can feel your own vastness. See if you can get a sense of the perfection of the universe, of God's way, of your life. Set aside for the moment all your trials and tribulations, your pains and frustrations. For just this moment trust that there is perfection and see if you can experience it.
Are you back so soon? May we invite you if you did not spend at least 5 minutes in this meditation, to try it again. For if you cannot give yourself the gift of 5 minutes of meditation, how can you give to others? Yes, it is your role to give to others, but that is not at the cost of sacrificing yourself. You must take care of yourself in order to give to others. You are worthy of being taken care of; you deserve it. "What have I done" you might say "that I deserve to be well cared for? I have done this and this bad thing." These are mistakes, my friends, made out of ignorance; they do not reflect your true nature which is love, beauty, caring, wisdom, power. You are here because you still make mistakes. You are learning how to correct your mistakes. Expect, while you are here to continue to make mistakes (By "here" we, of course, mean on the earth plane). It is what you are here for to make mistakes. Allow it, be thankful for it, for that is how you learn.

On guidance and love
Welcome. It is a pleasure to be here with you today. You may wonder what we are doing, who we are. We are here to aid you on your journey. Everyone is guided whether they know it or not, whether they resist or accept the help. Every one of you has guides who want to help you, who do help you. Take that in for a moment . . . Every one of you has guides. But many of you have not learned how to communicate with your own guides or your Higher Self. So that is why we assist you through channels such as this one. They can offer you help until you are ready to receive your own guidance. And of course, there are times when you cannot receive guidance for yourself even though you usually do, because of the nature or severity of the issue at hand.
Do not distrust the wisdom of what you hear or read just because it came from an entity who is not in the body. By the same token, do not accept it without critical evaluation either. You must always use your intuition, your inner knowing to determine the truth of some thought or advice or whatever. Does it feel like the truth? Do not give up your responsibility to and for yourself because it is easy or because the entity purports to know more than you do. No one knows more than you do when you tap into your inner knowing.
Now how do you learn to tap into and trust your inner knowing and guidance from your Higher Self and your guides?
